Dr. Fugate received his doctorate in Gifted\, Talented and Creative Studies from Purdue University and will be leading a discussion on Understanding the Unique Needs of Gifted Girls. \nDr. Fugate will cover topics including: \nWhat it means to be a girl who is gifted in the 21st Century.\nThe progression of gifted girls through their school years\, particularly as they enter their secondary years and “girl world.”\nHis research on what it means to be a girl who is gifted with ADHD\, with a focus on seeing them as young women who are “Attention Divergent Hyperactive Gifted.” \n
