Gifted Education Speaker Event: Understanding the Unique Needs of Gifted Girls

C. Matthew Fugate, Ph.D. is our featured speaker for this event. Dr. Fugate received his doctorate in Gifted, Talented and Creative Studies from Purdue University and will be leading a discussion on Understanding the Unique Needs of Gifted Girls.

Dr. Fugate will cover topics including:

What it means to be a girl who is gifted in the 21st Century.
The progression of gifted girls through their school years, particularly as they enter their secondary years and “girl world.”
His research on what it means to be a girl who is gifted with ADHD, with a focus on seeing them as young women who are “Attention Divergent Hyperactive Gifted.”
